Apearing on Canal Street Beat. Morning Call and Bud’s Broiler, two beloved businesses that recently lost their Mid-City locations, will now return, next to each other, in a new construction development at the corner of City Park Avenue and Canal Boulevard.

 

The site, currently a parking lot, is owned by Dorsey Development and sits next to Cask and Mid-City Bulldog.

In addition to Morning Call and Bud’s Broiler, the property will feature outdoor seating and eight apartments on the second floor.

Dorsey is seeking a conditional use to build the development since its greater than 5,000 square feet. M2 Studio is the architect.
